The Hackensack Main Street Business Alliance (MSBA) is a public private partnership formed as an alliance between the business community and the City of Hackensack. The mission of the MSBA is to address the issues facing the business community with the goal of improving the local economy and the overall business climate in Hackensack.

The visual improvement committee has recently awarded façade grants through their façade and signage grant program to 166-168 Main Street and 179 Main Street. Signage/Awning grants have been awarded to Harris Uniforms and Citrus Café. This program gives commercial property owners and business owners, located within the boundaries of the Upper Main Alliance, the opportunity to revitalize your buildings and storefronts and recover up to one-third of the cost of the project.
